She recently earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification as well as a promotion to paraplanner and is currently pursuing her Master's of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. Just for Girls is a Bradenton-based nonprofit organization committed to helping girls aspire to more successful lifestyles, to seek a better education, to secure meaningful and financially-equitable employment, and to become responsible and caring members of our society.“KJ brings a unique enthusiasm, dedication and drive to her service with Just for Girls,” said Just for Girls CEO Becky Canesse. “Her confidence, professionalism, and experience are impressive. She truly exemplifies what girls can accomplish when they have the discipline to nurture their strengths and the passion to pursue their potential.”KJ explained, “I first became involved with Just for Girls in 2016 for several reasons. First, I truly enjoy mentoring young girls. Second, I learned that participants in Just for Girls programs often come from households earning not more than $10,000 a year. That’s when I felt compelled to step in and try my best to help make an impact in the girls’ lives and work together to make strides toward their future goals.”

Just for Girls operates three Leadership and Learning Centers in Manatee County, providing before school, after school, out-of-school, and summer programs that focus on prevention education and accelerated academics for school-age girls. In addition to its extracurricular programs, the organization established JFG Middle in 1993 and JFG Elementary in 2012, bringing a responsive, quality education to the forefront of its strategy to equip girls with the skills and tools they need to become strong, smart, capable women and leaders of their generation – much like the qualities they see in KJ Vorndran.

"I'm thrilled to take on this new leadership role with an organization truly making an impact in the lives and livelihoods of girls today," said KJ. "Within our firm, I've grown professionally as our team strives to stay connected, give, feel gratitude, value the future, and achieve goals for our clients and community. This is a mantra I also apply to my volunteer service with Just for Girls."
